Danny Madrigal started playing at the tender age of four. His youth soccer years saw him become State Cup, Regional Cup and 3rd place winner in U.S. Nationals. During his high school years, he won two league titles; a Player of the Year award, and scored 30 goals in his senior year alone.

Mike Gentry has been involved with 619Futsal since its inception in 2007. He previously held title of Director of Player Development position which encompasses many aspects of the league. Mike has coached many teams in the league and has been on the Regional and National Futsal Team Staff. Mike has been in the San Diego Soccer community since 1980.

YARI ALLNUT
Yari joins the Academy staff for the 2025-26 season. His playing and coaching background make him a wonderful addition to the Academy. Yari played professionally in Mexico and the United States, including the Western Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League, Major League Soccer, USL A-League, Mexican Primera División A, USISL Select League, and the Continental Indoor Soccer League. He earned five caps with the United States national team, including games at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. He was enshrined in the University of Portland Sports Hall Of Fame for his fantastic collegiate career. Yari specializes in technical soccer skills and the mental aspects of the game. With his vast network of soccer professionals, he also helps players get to the next level, whether it be making calls to college coaches or reaching out to pro/semi-pro teams or agents to get players seen.

Keena brings her talented skills and coaching abilities to the Academy. Payne is a defender from Temecula, California. She attended Great Oak High School before continuing her collegiate career at Carroll College and later Ottawa University–Arizona.
Payne has an extensive playing background that includes club soccer at the ECNL level, participation with the USYF Regional Futsal Team, and experience with SoCal Union FC. During
her career, she earned multiple honors, including 2018 All Conference Second Team, 2018 United Soccer Coaches NAIA All-West Region Second Team, and was part of the 2018
Cascade Conference Championship team. She also received US Bank Academic All-Conference honors three times. Her favorite English Premier League team is Manchester United.
